Beer Engine to Polypin Bag Help

Hi All

Like many, during this covid outbreak,I have found my imagination wondering with time to kill in the evenings.

So I am converting my very tiny shed into a home bar, little pipedream of mine, my setup at the moment is very simple with a beer engine that will be connecting to a Polypin bag. I have everything sorted from demand valve to a 3/8 beer line and links to the fridge.

However I need some help............ My local brewery Bays beer bags come with a differnt tap, so that elminates the VTOP Connector, example of tap in the link Beer Boxes

Does anyone have any idea what size this tap this is and what is the best way to connect my beer engine to it?

Hey TrueBlue thank you for your reply.

what connection do you use to connect your beer line to that specific bag? Is it a John quest straight connector 3/8 -15mm? That’s the bit I am stuck on?

Not sure of the size but the tap on the poly pin is the same size as the inlet on the hand pump, an Angram, with jubilee clips for a tight fit.

There was/is a substantial thread about serving from a polypin with a hand pump over on Jim's forum a good while ago.
It sounds like you're almost sorted though.

Can’t you just connect to the tap spigot with a piece of tubing and a jubilee clip?

I'd highly recommend that thread. The creator (I think) is Dennis King. He always replied tk queries quickly. Even if you're all sorted, it's worth a browse.
