Morning All, I'll be bottling a John Bull IPA today:
23L - 11/10/15 - 31/10/15
Re-pitched Gervin Yeast (Wilko) + 1tsp YN
1kg Youngs BE + 120g honey
25g Perle Hops + 5g Aurora - 20m boil, tea and bag added to FV
OG:1061 - FG:1009 - 7%

Very nice tasting in the trial jar, I've really enjoyed everything I've done with the Perle Hops.

Todays Brew will be a Wherry with 30g of Aurora hops and 100g of honey added, I'm seeing this as the start of my dark ale brew run up to Christmas. I'll be following the Wherry with a Wilko Sweet Newkie Brown, a Coopers Stout and another John Bull IPA. The Aurora hops I'm using today are the last of my last batch but I've got four new vac packed in the side lines, Summer hop 4.4%, Saaz 3.1%, Hallertau 7.1% and more Perle 8.6%. I may well mix the stronger and weaker hops together to see what sort of hop profile I get but we'll see how it goes. Anyway, gotta run, them bottles won't wash themselves.

The john bull ipa is my favourite 1 can kit. That has come out strong with just your honey addition.. how long did you leave in the fv???
