I have had the framboos in a FV for 15 days now.

OG was as prescribed... 1.056 and after 15 days is down to 1.020/1.019 - this has been steady since Friday

Temperatures have been 18 - 21c (mainly 19/20)

I have stirred the wort a couple of times but to no real avail. I will try a reading tomorrow evening again.

I have calibrated the Hydrometer with water and it reads about correct 1.000

tasting the sample of which I tested in the trial jar it tastes fine...

seems a little high to bottle yet - but would it hurt to leave it until Saturday/Sunday this week meaning 3 weeks fermentation?

I have a spare muntons yeast from an admirals reserve but I am not sure pitching this would be the right sort of yeast.

any Ideas?

thanks.

What is the final abv supposed to be? A lot of stronger beers can finish at 1019 and above. At present, yours should be around 4.8%.

The instructions state 1.010... but also on a 12l brew they state 100g priming sugar before bottling!!!

No movement on the hydrometer today. Should I bottle as is with less priming sugar as it does state 100g for a 12l brew or should I try something else or just leave it?
