I picked up a 12l brewferm IPA extract kit and I'm looking at adding mango to it.
Now, for the initial fermentation, I'm quite tempted to use mango flavoured still water from asda, as it's 37p per litre, instead of using general tap water. Has anyone tried this before? How successful was it?
Once I'm ready for 2nd fermentation, I will split the batch into 2 smaller batches, 1 with just the mango flavoured water and 1 with the mango flavoured water but also adding mango puree.
I will probably use amarillo hops with this and am considering lactose too in order to make it more of a milkshake IPA.
Any thoughts, feedback or suggestions are welcomed.
