Hi all, does anyone know if you can buy something that measures alcohol content in beer (ABV ideally)? i.e. not the gravity, but the alcohol? ta!

A brixing tool will help count sugar. Not really sure about a tool to check alcohol other that before and after readings with a hydrometer

yoikes! ok, back to guestimating then.

[my brewing issue: I want to put fruit in the FV, which will affect the ABV, but I'm not sure how to factor that into hydrometer readings.
Any advice on that would be appreciated!]

that is really useful, many thanks. The fruit I wanted to use wasn't in the table, but searching for the 'Foods and Nutrition Encyclopedia' I found it.
Many thanks again
