The picture has the obvious bit missing... But can you guess what it is for?

Trebuchets are always good to have around. Especially to avoid disputes with those who don't have one.

Does the bit on the middle with the green (hose? ) attached slide left/right towards the upright with the handle?

Is the piece of wood on the end of the green "pipe" fit somewhere to wedge it into fixed position?
