champagne yeast

i was thinking about using champagne yeast to make a TC, would I still need to prime the bottles with this? (i do prefer fizzy cider but dont want it too extreme)

According to my notes I used champagne yeast in my first TC.
You'll want priming sugar unless there's some unfermented sugars left when you bottle
