I have just tested the fit of my co2 regulator onto my co2 cylinder, is there any way that I can safely extend the pipe work connection so that the gauge assembly faces vertical

I managed to contact a friend who works for an Air products company who is going to modify the connection for me

On both of the regulators I’ve had (I had a premium ODI one that broke when I dropped it from 3 feet and replaced it with a Kegland ref) you position the regulator in the direction you want it and then the bit that screws onto the bottle is moveable (if that makes sense). You would just loosen it from the bottle slightly, twist into position and tighten up again.

I’m assuming yours isn’t the same.
