Hi just started brewing again after 35 years out. Done it with my granda when I was 16, how things have changed lol. Made myself a fermenator and got me corny keg ready. Brew is ready to cold crash on Sunday, so my question is do I add finnings as well, when and where (bucket or corny keg) ? Cheers 🍺

I’m “old school” so try to use neither and allow “time+gravity” to clear and condition a brew!

All Finings and Cold Crashing do is to speed up the process of clearing the brew. I find “time+gravity” does an excellent job and allows the brew to condition at the same time. (Very seldom does a brew not improve by waiting a couple of weeks or more!)

An oft quoted phrase is:

“For a brewer, patience is a virtue!”

Enjoy.
