So I have decided to put my bottles just outside my kitchen door during the conditioning process. Does this sound like a bad idea or not? It is a shaded area, the only thing that made me concerned was when we had some heavy rain. But people leave bottled beers in buckets/barrels of water to cool them with no effect on the taste so what is a little rain going to do?

Any thoughts on this? Rookie question I know but this is only my second brew so I hope you will be kind

dont see any problems just as you mentioned keep out of sunlight , of course in summer it may be a little too warm but thats for all of about 2 weeks of the year lol
