Has anyone who uses the grainy found a way to stop the filter clogging up with grains at all? It seems to seriously affect the way the pump works when sterilising/using the wort cooler and pumping into the fv. It comes out at a trickle.
I've tried using finer mesh (this stuff http://tiny.cc/2s003x ) inside the filter but now I'm thinking about covering the bottom plate inside the mash section with it, as well as a small piece on the overflow spout.
There always seems to be a bit of trub getting into the fv which always finds its way in my glass when it's time to get sozzled!
