That is not a keg release valve it's a sankey keg fitting for use on beer kegs it's could be dangerous if used doing things like this please do not use it for this you could seriously hurt yourself please admin warn people on doing things like this , I have seen this done before. Do not allow this again.

I am not sure what this person is talking about - i have used it on my kegs but recently sold them - i dont see how it is dangerous.

The tool releases the pressure first when you push down on it

Then you have to undo the spear - which has a safety catch

Then you use the tool to release the safety catch

I am very bemused by the comments by the person

people do need to be carefull on the internet saying things to which they do not know about

This is a quality item purchased originally from a reputable supplier
