been a long long time since I ever followed up all the way from recipe maker to final pour n taste...
Still got a long we for conditioning but it lacks hoppiness....

that's why 2# may be a savour..
time will tell.
just having a tap sample test in the mo...but reckon no way getting to the FG of 1.010.

hi all,
as I said ages ago I'm looking at finishing a brew start to finish...
so this is my shocking truth with a 2# fursty 10l batch.
wart n all.
no shakes we the brew, fermentation, dry hop etc.
bottled as usual...
but this bottle wasn't right!!!
1# fursty good

this crap isn't good

bloody gusher....then..Phenolic taste.
tcp...
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!
water treatment right...
brandnew bottles....cleaned and starsan over n over..
Bad yeast strain!!!
not one bottle, the whole lot.
I had a bad yeast strain years ago with 1l bottles...brand new etc.
used west Yorkshire ale (1469)
ohhh well...bottles washed oot....oven cleaned and they get starsan as usual for the batch..
