Gas line length. Is there a minimum?

Since recently shortening my gas line to about 3 foot I’m struggling to get my regulator to the usual psi levels.

are the two related does anyone know?

From my experience I'd say not an issue.

I have about 20cm from reg to a 4 ways splitter, and then about 30cm from splitter to kegs.

Strange as it was fine, i cut the length and now it struggles to get up to 20psi. Gonna check all. Y connections again.

Gas line is controlled by the reg, no minimum length unlike beer line, but that is to reduce foaming.
