Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent refractometer?
Doing kits at the moment but starting to look at AG as a possibility...
I noticed there were different scales, brix,sg etc. Are these just prefernce thing or should I be looking at a certain type, in the begining it will just be for OG/FG readings for my kits.

I ordered one and being the usual me, didn't read the description and got a brix one. Was annoyed but now I'm used to it. I might order another one just because it's more detailed.

I realise the difficulties in getting an accurate FG due to the alcohol, but it must still be usefull for tracking when fermentation is finishing?

The ones I've seen being sold recently have both Plato and brix? (Or are those two the same thing?????)
As for accuracy, I've never heard of issues. I used to compare them but they were never off so now I just use my refractometer.
