I also did a brew inspired by the Spring Beer. Again same grain bill but I had to substitute both hops (galaxy/wai-ti) for cascade and citra as could not get hold of either over here. Once I do get some I'll brew that again though. Going to do an Amber loosly based on the Palmer recipe this weekend so I'll see how a Palmer recipe holds up to a Hughes. :-)

The American wheat is really nice. I might set hop it next time for an extra hoppy hit. Tried it with us-05 (decent) and 1010 and the yeast the book recommends definitely lends a better character than the Chico.

I'm currently doing the American Wheat with kveik yeast. Another day to go I reckon. Tastes good so far.

Wondering what Greg recipe will be next, possibly the Spring Beer.

It's a great book.

I made the spring beer, but solely with galaxy hops, it comes across a lot more bitter than you'd expect as galaxy gives a really rough bitterness. Tastes good though, if I made it again I'd use something else to bitter and keep the galaxy to the late additions.

just bottled my first since getting the book. ruby mild. the trial jar tasted like a bit of a hoppy stout, looking forward to it.
