Hi All! New member having taken up home brewing for the first time since initial largely unsuccessful attempts as a young adult 35 years ago...
Using the simple kits for starters and 1st batch bottle before Christmas of Mangrove Jacks New Zealand Pale Ale. OK, apart from a yeasty tang... I believe its a common theme. Now about to bottle a batch of Thomas Coopers Brew A IPA - fingers crossed.

Challenges so far:
1) Finding a room warm enough to maintain fermentation temperatures
2) Removing commercial beer bottle labels for re-use - Belgian labels simply soak off with cold water - South Welsh brewers all seem to use plastic labels which come off with heat (oven) but remaining glue is a nightmare! - English labels do seem to soak & scrub off but glue reluctant.
3) Finding removable labels so my own printed labels don't cause problem 2)
