Hello from SE5

[Camberwell Canary]

Am a new brewer in Camberwell, South London. Have been to a couple of the London ABA meetings and helped an experienced member on a brew day.

Have decided to go full mash straightaway. Foolish perhaps. I have a mash tun and have ordered a fermenting bin and boiler.

My mentor assures me that building a fermenting fridge makes it difficult to screw up. So that's the next step.

Used to live in Herne Hill and went to Tulse Hill school - I'm now retired and living in the NE of Scotand so that tells you how long ago that was (well the 60's).

Used to live in Herne Hill. I think Brockwell Park has changed a lot since your day.

The Lido is no longer a fog of cannabis smoke, but home to a quinoa-munching cafe full of Guardian-reading yummy mummies.
