Hi folks I am Neil from Edinburgh and I intend to have a shot of making my own booze. I have accumulated a bit of kit so wish me good luck! I don't even know what some of the stuff is!

Helloo!
First glance, looks like you have a lot of what you need to get going.
Maybe a brewing kettle if you don’t have a very large saucepan.

With a fermenting vessel (the big plastic bucket) and an assortment of Demijohns, I’d kick off with a cheap Wine Kit like this one from Wilko:

My only proviso is “Don’t believe the time required!” and stick to the “two weeks fermentation - two weeks conditioning” before you even taste the wine. (In beer brewing there is a “two weeks carbonating” period between the two above.)

Enjoy! It can be great fun!

As Dutto says you have a good set up for wine making, the heat pad is a big plus for winter winemaking, the auto syphon is also a bonus.

If you want to have a go and don't want to spend much give this a try -
