hobgoblin bottles

Has anyone complained to the makers of hobgoblin about their bottles? There have an annoying rounded profile at the neck which makes capping very difficult

perversely they would sell more as i'd buy Hobgoblin and King goblin.

I'll get in touch with them and see what they say!

I like the beer and I'd buy more if the bottles were the same as every other brewers. Do they do it to deliberately put home brewers off or is it something they simply haven't thought of?

Doubt they give a monkeys. I suspect the unique bottle shape is viewed as part of the brewery brand.

I can be smug about it tho as my ancient twin lever capper eats them for breakfast...

Being in Australia I've never heard of it. I might have a look when I go to the bottle shop next. I wouldn't mind one of their T shirts though.

But they look pretty much the same shape as a bottle I use for my homebrew with no difficulty using a bench capper.
