Hi All

Just been away in the caravan to Inveraray in the west coast of Scotland. What a week - the weather was stunning, the views spectacular and even better - it was too early for the midges  .

A couple of photos to give you an idea of how good it was.

First off, an image from the Inveraray looking South East and then a picture from about 50yrds from the caravan looking south across Loch Fyne.

Finally, here is a bucket of mussles, clams and whelks picked up from the shores of the loch (they tasted as good as they look).

now that is a stunning view D. :thumb:

I know, I was like that all week. We took a run down the coast to Lochgilphead and it was like a postcard picture on every turn. We were so lucky.

Hope you went to the George for a few pints n drams??

I wish! Was there with SWMBO and kids so we never made it into the George - although I did manage to get myself something rather nice from the shop across the road. ;)

That water needs some ripples from divers in it!! Nice looking place to stay with a cornie or two :thumb:

What camp site did you use?

We were at the Argylle Caravan Park just a couple of miles past Inveraray. Quite a big place full of statics.

Wow Dunfie those pics are great. Beautiful countryside and lakes

Thanks, it really was stunning.

Also, small point of order - we don't have lakes in Scotland (well actually there is one). :P
