I have used galatine in my keg to clear it and somehow i think I stripped a lot of hop flavor. And I think that Simcoe overwhelmed other hops.

So I'm wondering what is the best ratio of simcoe-amarillo to get more fruity character. Maybe 2:1 for amarillo? Besides those hops now I have also nelson sauvin. What is your recommendation for hops schedule with those hops? I like a lot Brewdog Punk IPA so that is my reference for hop aroma.

Thank you all

brewdog dry hop at 20g/gallon. do it in clear beer if possible, it picks up the flavour better. i also hear you can blend hops (in a blender, not mix varieties) when dry hopping for more flavour, and doing it in 2 stages is meant to be worthwhile. i can't help past that, but hope this gives you some food for thought :thumb:

Yes, I know that Brewdog hop rate is 0.75kg per hl of beer. And they flush it 2-3 with blast of CO2 to prevent hops from falling down. I'm using hop pallets so i think i don't need to blend them. And yes, next time I'll add them i clear beer, dry hop in keg.

I'm wondering of amarillo, simcoe and nelson ration because i don't want to waste precious hops if let's say nelson will mask all aroma from other hops.

Thanks
