Need some advice about my second kit. Started a Muntons Docklands Porter 10 days ago and it has been kept at a constant 20 degrees since. After a day a nice head had formed and there was plenty of activity.
Just took a reading however and it is at 1.020, which seems a little too high for racking? There is also a lot of gunk and yeast floating on the surface, which I didnt have with my first kit (which turned out very well).
Is my brew stuck and if so, what should I do next to get it going?
