Just watched a pod cast where they added a litre of frozen grapefruit juice to a pale ale at flame out.

Result was good.

Grapefruit juice isn’t good for people on some medication so was wondering if people have tried this method or have added other juice flavours to their brew ?

Not used grapefruit juice but I have used other juices. I normally swazz up some fruit in the blender (previously frozen and then defrosted) and pasteurise it.

I'll add it after the main fermentation is complete, usually at the same time as a dry hop. Many types of fruits will add a noticeable acidity and tartness when used in large quantities. You could add a bit of lactose to balance this out if required.
