Just ordered some Guinness yeast - Good?

Hi all,

Just ordered myself some Irish Ale Yeast WLP004, apparently its quite common knowledge its the Guinness strain and its meant to be very versatile which is what I'm after.

Anyone with any experience with it?

Interesting, I wouldn't mind doing another stout soon, I could probably do worse than using this!

I used it for my Guinness clone and then a week later racked off to use the yeast cake for Effin oatmeal stout. Both have turned out as great stoits. Being my first AG stous however I have no comparison for the yeast.
