Hi guys. The brother-in-law got a Brauheld 35 for his 40th and we're playing with it today, doing GH Japanese Rice lager.
It feels like a whole other kettle of fish as I've only done brews the classic way (HLT -> mash tun -> kettle) and we've already missed our mash temp after making a stupidly thick mash and had to add cold water, then tried heating it up again by recirculating with the built in pump, which doesn't work well given that the water from the mash filters a lot slower than the pump goes...
Does ANYONE have one of these that can give us some tips or guide us or come over and help? (Only in Belfast, not far...)
