Well i just realised my klarstein fullhorn was 12 months old old on 8-7-20 i have done at least 15 to 20 brews with it no problems at all

I am enjoying mine, not quite worked out the best setting for the thermostat it seems to read about 2 degrees low for the mash but that is probably due to it being at the bottom and my digital thermometer reading at the top, how do yoy set yours to get mash temperature spot on.No i posted really as to the realibillty of these kettles which is a ? often asked by people moving to ag
Other than that I think its a great bit of kit, I now lift my bag up out of the wort and do a proper batch sparge.
Hi Galena, if i want to mash at say 66c i set temp at 63c so 3 degrees lower than i want then check with digi probe its always there abouts, i just do a dunk sparge in a spare fv, best 179 quid i ever spent
I also set the timer and leave the 900w heat setting on for the mash

Cheers I'll try at 3 degrees lower then and keep checking. Yes I use 900w for the mash too. Its a good bit of kit for BIAB for sure.
