I hate the stuff but swmbo loves the stuff. Just found this How to make marmite guide and wondered if anyone fancies giving it a go. I might give it a bash if I have time when I get to the UK. Be interesting to find out what flavours the different beers bring out in the marmite.

Thought about it then I read

Simmer at blood heat, 30 to 40 ºc for ten hours or overnight.

The entire process takes about ten days.

Just think how much gas you would use. Mind you as the poster says what if you used a really malty or bitter beer :hmm: :hmm:

What sort of temperature would you get on a radiator? I am sure mine are hotter than 40c.

I am sure you could rig up a thermo box with a small efficient heater or just a themobox would hold the temp for 10 hours.
