I like the way you covered the outside of your elements. How did you attach them?

its just kept in place by the element back plate,the boxe's are ip66 from screwfix hope this helps. i'm going to put some silicon sealant round it just to make sure.http://www.screwfix.com/p/ip66-enclosure-74mm/69473

the kettles i used are asda cheappos and the wires are just plugged onto the three pins, iv'e left the small on /off light on and drilled a small hole in the side. hope this helps
