Has anyone ever used one of theses connectors for there PB’s

Seems a little steep for a 3/4 connector with a £1.99 tap on it
I do like the idea of putting a better tap remotely on my PB
ie PB in pantry or out house (nice and cool in there summer and winter) and tap mounted on the kitchen wall only 1 brick thick
All ideas welcomed
