Hi all, I recently bottled a Geordie lager kit in a keg (rookie mistake!) and a few in plastic bottles. The carbonation and lager was great from the plastics but the beer in the keg is so flat!

Would it be possible to re-prime the lager in plastics and expect a decent carbonation again or will the lack of yeast prevent this?

Cheers!

how long has it been in the keg ?as mark said co2 would be the route to go down , you could try and re prime with sugar and it might work but then again it might just sweeten the beer and still have flat beer, a think if you did try it you would have to stir the keg gentley so as not to introduce oxygen into it and put it somewhere warm for 10-14 days and then you run the risk of of nasties getting in as you have no c02 blanket protecting your beer, hope this helps :thumb:

How much sugar did you use to prime the keg? Did you put vaseline on the lid and washer?
Try adding some gas and give it 24hours, if you've lost pressure again then it's most likely that the lid isn't sealed properly
