Note to self, don't use feckin treacle ever again, just took a reading 1008 at day 4 cml midland is a beast, i tasted the sample fookin hell it's bitter hope it mellows some what i only used 2tbs in 21L

Brewed 21L of the largarish, this batch i upped the abv to 5.3% and used largar malt ho[s Magnum and styrian goldings
I like stryian goldings. Are you fermenting with a lager yeast or ale ?

Must be mental doing a brew today, as you all know I don’t do styles just stylish, well here a twist on the largerish added some progress hops and some moscavado sugar and honey
I think the muscovado should add a nice touch. The honey will be interesting as it should carry through.

I've probably seen it in pictures before but I see you have gone for a small amount of height. I settled on using a wooden chair that the back rest had broken off having decided that table was too high and floor was too low.
Do you keep the control panel detached ?
20L to fv at 1050 bang on
It’s a gen 3 the control panel is at the bottom and non detachable
Its not low really, i can still get a 23L fv under the tap. just makes it easier to lift the basket
Largerish mk4 this is the extra special version aiming for 5.3% let’s see how close I get
Aiming for 5.3% got this close enough for me
Not a lot going on today so Mrs cx500 says while it’s nice out do a brew so I did, a pale ale I over shot a bit or it’s the crisp best ale malt

Taking advantage of the lovely weather, so another brew it is, crisp best ale malt a bit of amber and biscuit and 50g roasted barley hops all progress while I have 500g
