I've been all grain brewing for a year or so now.

I've used garden hops and commercial hops in different combinations, with S04, MJ M36 & M15 yeasts.

I've standardised on half a protafloc tab in 25ltrs 10/15 mins from the end of the boil. In every case the wort has always run nice and clear into the fermenter and clears up well in the bottle (I only bottle my beers). I've never needed to use finings.

Recently I bought a batch of Challenger which I've used (single hop) for boil, late addition and hopstand, all with M36.

All the Challenger brews have a significant haze which improves but is still very noticeable after weeks conditioning.

Any ideas on prevention or cure?
