TC success

Hi all,

Prompted by all of the discussions on here, I started a few different batches of TC in April & May.

I tried all sorts, Elderflower, pomegranate & Blueberry, Strawberry Ribena etc. Thinking....." These will be great in Summer......"

Well Summer's officially arrived on the Moray Firth today, clear blue skies, hot sun, light breeze. So I decided to crack a few TC's open.

Can only be described as a complete success

Elderflower cider was VERY dry, well carbonated, and crystal clear. Even the Missus enjoyed it, we've added just a splash of decent lemonade to take the sharp-edge off.

Very happy with the results :-) I don't drink lots of cider, but I'll make sure I brew a few more batches ready for next summer.

I think I'll follow your good example and turn a couple of the fifteen (!) bags of elderflowers my aunt and I picked yesterday morning into turbocider.
