UPDATE: So I left this for a couple of days and took a reading on 3rd April which was 1.024. Took another reading tonight, 5th April and still at 1.024. Looks like I've got a stalled brew again. Gave it a stir but not holding out any hope.

So after three weeks in the FV this has reached 1.017 from an original 1.048 from memory. Brings it in at a smidge over 4% and about 64% attenuation which is pretty poor for S-05 yeast.

Looks like I need to get back to basics and review my whole brewing procedure as I'm having brews fall short of target final gravity too often.

rehydrate the yeast first, it give you more margin for error. it may just make the difference.
