Remember to open the windows in the kitchen as the smell can be a bit over powering. :sick:

However its worth it - they really do add a lovely velvety creamy mouthfeel. :thumb:

Can I suggest that you toast your oats slightly slower than this, around 130C . . still smells like :sick: but you get a nice nuttiness with it, with less of a possibility of cracking the oils in them.
 
I did my oats as per Wez but at 165 deg c.
Do a few dummy runs with a small amount at diff temps and see which taste you prefer before committing to making a beer with them :thumb:
