We had friends round today and had lovely weather here in Kent. Quite a few beers sunk this afternoon including this Altbier. Our friends arrived just after I took the photo so there was no time to post until now.

A Highland Park (also to confirm no Bitters where added it just happened to be on the sideboard).

Also it’s scary how much Single Malt has gone up in price I’m sure I can remember Twelve Year Old Whisky being in the £25-£30 a bottle range not £35-£50 range not that long ago.

Where did you pick that up

Asda. 4 pack it’s a decent stout. Creamy head and good body to it. Dark and roast. It’s actually better than Guinness to be honest.

Back from a great week in Tassie, breathing in the world's cleanest air at Cape Grim, drinking the water eating the world's best beef and at Mona Gallery drinking Cape Grim Vodka, my wife overindulged and took a nap on the back of a sofa in the restaurant.

The best thing about Tasmania apart from the wilderness is the food. The Moo Brew Beers weren't bad but it was good to return to my own. Nancy Naylor Landlady still hitting the mark.
