Just curious as I've seen some of the other kegs available out there and they state 1mm, the quality of true corny kegs is unsurpassed but I'm just wondering is the wall the same thickness or more?

I've just taken the callipers to one of mine that I cut the top off . . . 0.87mm

why are you concerned with the wall thickness of a cornie?
The material probably started as 1mm nominal thickness however after rolling it looses a little of its thickness due to stretch. not that it makes any real difference to their operation, they are made to deal with commercial environments.

still puzzled
