Why does my beer taste like stagnant pond water?

funny enough I just had one that tasted a bit swampy at the pub. couldnt tell if it was the glass or maybe the dehusked roasted barley.

anyway, do you have a dishwasher? if so check the salt and give the drain filter a good clean. could be a warm weather water issue.
