I called in at a home brew shop to pick up a kit and ws talking to the owner. She mentioned that Wilko's are now sourcing their own malt for their own brand kits and no longer using Muntons and the quality was not necessarily as good as previously.
No idea if this is correct or not but I thought I should share it for those who brew these kits.
