Gonna do a partial extract tonight, mash 2kg of pale.malt add goldings boil for one hour, then add a can of coopers light extract.I have youngs dried active yeast, and some youngs nutrient.Youngs say to use 1 level teaspoon of yeast per gallon of wort. This is a lot more than coopers or beterbrew provide with thier kits.Is this the right amount to use?Help!

I always say it's better to add to much yeast than too little and making a yeast starter increases the chance of a good healthy ferment.
