    maxi biab wheat attempted step decoction

    Hmmmm doing a 50/50 wheat/pilsner and attempted to discover how difficult step decoction was with my set up...aimed for 20 mins at 50c, 60 mins at 62c and 60 mins at 70c. Well I overshot the second step and did an hour at 66c, its bang on 70c now but not sure I can be bothered to leave another...

    AG BIAB wheat beer thing

    Need to bottle pilsner and marzen today and then get stuck into a wheat beer. Not worked it out yet but going with 50/50 mix of wheat/pilsner and I have hallertau mittlefruh, spalt and tettnang hops. Step decoction not really an option.
