Wow! I bet that was expensive - must be the last dregs. Brew 2 bottle have a litre of Chemsan for £17.95

It's been back on sale in the UK and the EU for a while. There was temporary red tape that had meant it disappeared for a while.

I see. Looks like the price has been inflated then due to this. Chemsan is exactly the same product and does the same job. Up to the consumer what their priorities are I suppose? Paying for a brand name or paying for the cheaper English substitute? :confused.:

Also the graduation markings are in ounces on the Starsan bottle which is difficult for English people to comprehend, as opposed to ml on the chemsan.

Used Starsan for years now with no issues, don't plan on changing. 😃👍🏻

Something to do with not being able to get hold of the ingredients. Not sure of the details? Like I say time will tell.

Please carry on buying it and posting the best price for us all because I’m sure we’ll all be interested.

There was an issue getting Starsan a while back but I think that got resolved recently. I still buy it from time to time, but also use Chemsan now which is similar. I think Chemsan might be more dilute

If Chemsan is exactly the same, is that getting phased out too because of the ingredient shortage?

I have used both I find the Chemsan just as good in what it as to do.
