I’m having roast duck so it has to be Bordeaux (well Burgundy or Rhone, Rioja okay a lot of red wines would go nicely with duck). This is a nice reasonably priced wine, very rich, a little heavy and honestly far too easy to drink for a 15% wine.
Noticed this in Morrison’s so I could test it again my Czech Pilsner. I’ve just had them blind tasted by two people and they couldn’t taste the difference, well happy with that 
Ayinger Urweisse. The local bar/bottle shop had a German delivery, so all of today's beers will be das.

Mo Chara Lager, from Dundalk. One of my mates missus comes from there and there’s a family connection. It’s really good, crisp, dry and packs a bit of heft to the malt backbone.
