The instructions indicate that this should be ready to bottle after about a week. From starting to bottling it took 24 days. I added extra sugar in-order to bring up the ABV to 13.2% (4kg Sugar).

It was temperature controlled from the start, was made up to 20 litres, used the supplied finings and I did not filter it.

Result, well it isn't red but a very dark rose. It tastes great much like a cheapish supermarket brand or a Blossom Hill although with a slightly higher ABV.

Would I make it again? well I have a few left in stock, so that is a yes!

Would I buy it again? well if I wanted a cheap red (and I have very limited experience thus far) I would probably do a WineBuddy or Cellar 7. The cost, including the sugar and the kit resulted in 25 bottles at only 36p each!
