DH has just said he wants still cider. Like scrupmy.

So what do I do when its finished fermenting?
I dont know if it will need pot sorbate or campdens.
Also do I leave it to clear in a DJ or put it into bottles.
can I still use PET bottles

still cider is just cider that has fully fermented. the longer you leave this the more likely, also if you rack two or even three times, with enough time between to obtain a sediment, then each time you're taking less yeast through, so less fermentation is possible.

if you add CT and pot sorb that will kill off yeast, and stop any futher fermentation, and will set the abv and sweetness, unless you add more liquid on drinking to taste.

it should clear in a DJ, maybe twice, but is ok to be bottled, and should be fine in plastic, as you've got no yeast, and no sugar, so there should be no fermentation in bottle. I won't sparkle, or fizz, and it won't be sweet (unless you stopped it early).

it might be worth buying the DH favoured choice of scrupmy to compare you homebrew with, to help adjust what you do for next time.
