Hi everyone. I’m new to all grain brewing and watched a YouTube video which showed a guy sparging by simply pouring hot water into the mash with a jug, stirring it with a spoon, leaving it for a few minutes, then draining it. He called this batch sparging.
Is this method as good as using a spray bar and does anyone else use this method? It would make my set up easier.
