beer king 2000 problems

I have a beer king 2000, but I am having problems with it. Ever since I have had it, when using the beer just squirts out fast.

I just noticed that the nozzle doesnt open fully. the white plastic inside doesnt fully contract, as per the picture. This means the beer is pushed out and becomes very frothy. Too frothy to use.

Does anyone else have one that I can compare to?

looks very similar to the tap i have for my minikeg cooler.. im only pouring my 2nd keg, but it helps if the keg is cold, the first pint squirts out as foam, by the time the second pint is poured its settled down, after the third i need to start opening up the gas regulator one increment at a time..

Ive only tried 2 homebrew filled minikegs not any comercial ones yet.
