Bottom tap to top tap?

If i fitted a lastock tube and float to a bottom tap keg, would i fool it into thinking it was a top tap keg? Or is that, like most of my ideas, nonsense ?

I don't know what a lastock tube is :wha: , but you can fit the float kit to a bottom tap as you would to a top tap kingkeg. Does this help?
