can i re use pet bottles

hi got aload of pet bottles i used can i re use them or do i dump them

Yup. Depending on where you got em from just clean them and re-use

I use them only a few times each and then bin them as I think they degrade a little over time,always have a steady supply of them as swmbo buys soda water weekly

Also forgot to say, make sure they can hold the pressure of carbonation. So best to use ones you know have had fizzy drinks in before hand. You dont want any bottle bombs

As others said they are fine to re-use. You will still need to clean and sanitise. When they get a bit manky, chuck them out.

I've got some I've been using for two years. I give them a good rinsing and a spray when I've poured them and a rinsing with sanitizer when I'm bottling. Some of mine were looking a bit grubby so I did a proper bottle wash with a brush, warm water and Oxy and they came up as new. When I see them in any way mis-shaped or if they are dented at the bottom where nasties can hide then they get binned.

yes they was bought from a homebrew store so proper ones iv used them once
